11 tubes of blood for blood work this morning. That's a lot of blood.
Tomorrow is prep for Thursday's colonoscopy.
Then CT scan next week.

i have a bit of a Win. my regular doctor put me on a weird but non-narcotic med' for pain. It's been a week now, the side effects are gone and i've been through the big-pain week, so i'm pretty hopeful. Yes, i was laid up for a few days, but the pain was dramatically reduced and it's more than just the pain, one also gets really weak, so i'm still getting over the weakness. Huzzah for vitamins in tablet form.[8D]

i'm taking a break from knitting a baby sweater to be given on Christmas day. i really need to make the fingerless gloves for my hairdresser before Saturday.

i love gloves, so i'd love to see pix of the finished product. What type of yarn are you going to use ?

Last month, Chaos and i went looking about the night market ( a street here is so different from day to night ) and he bought me a pair of cranberry coloured velvet gloves !
i really enjoy them. They keep me warm. They go all the way to my elbows. Oh, do i really need any other reason than the fact that they're velvet ? [:D]
They have other uses, too.

Yet, no matter how well dressed i might be, passing the frozen fruit in the grocery store still makes me smile for all the right reasons.

i'm thinking dinner tonight will be maple chicken breast with waffles.
Though breasts are tender, they're not the tastiest piece of the bird, but they're boneless and i think that makes a better match for waffles.
The green and good for you portion of dinner, that'll be broccoli. i like broccoli.
Now, to get after those dishes taking up my counter-space...

Yes, i think thighs and legs are the only parts of the bird that tastes like chicken. i do the same thing.
Still, i'm trying to be good. Breasts are lean, and though delicious, thighs are not. The meat goes on top of a waffle, so i can't be too decadent with the chicken.

i like the version of chicken and waffles i had as a kid. Shredded chicken and chicken gravy was slopped over a buttered waffle.
In the last couple of years, i learned about fried chicken ( still on bone ) with waffles and hot sauce and maple syrup on the Food Network.
It seemed very strange to me, since i was already familiar with one style.
