[:D] Yeah, the above is not a typo, just my integration of Hongugo.
i can count to 10, on a good day, with a persistant Euro/American accent that is just impossible for me to shake.
Not that my limited knowledge of the Korean language has me anywhere close to being linguistic funtionality. *sigh*
Chaos was amused to wake up and find Post-It Notes* labling all our existing household goods with a phoenetic vocabulary of Korean words.
On the upside, the personal mannerisms which make Americans think i'm shy or "stuck-up" are perceived as politeness by the Nationals.

i can already fix bolgogi and a few other dishes, excluding kimchi, as i really dislike it in all its variations. Besides, how hard can it be to throw cabbage, peppers, and vinigar into a crock and wait for it to ferment?
Thankfully, whenever someone wants me to try their recipe, i can just feign the morning sickness and get out of it without cultural offence.
i think i'm sure to learn newer dishes while i'm here, since we're in a different region than before. i do love how here the produce markets are so fresh.

[:D]Oddly enough, i did assign myself a culinary goal for this tour. i want to learn to make American biscuits from scratch, by memory. i was born in Virginia, this should be something that i can manage.

Not exactly. He's an American you-know-what, i'm a female spouse and student, and here that makes a difference.
However, knowing the Nationals have little to no preconceived expections of my behavior has done wonders for my social anxiety.
