Most of the ad's i see are in Hongul.[sm=dunno.gif]

i'm hoping the trouble i'm having with the site will clear up in the near future. Sometimes you just gotta wait things through, like a cold.

Chaos certainly deserves many a Win, and it's my job to make sure he gets them. [;)]
It's because of him that i know the sexiest sight in the world is a man in a kilt, washing dishes, a newly baked batch of brownies cooling near-by. The kilt and brownie part wasn't today, but it's been an awesome day, and i'm about to go climb into bed with him for a lazy day nap.

What did you decide to bake ? Did Canada get snow too ?

Happy Christmas to you, Lovey.

When i click on the bird link, i get ads but they are different from what lovethyself saw.

Last night for Christmas Eve, i sang with the choir for the midnight service. To me music makes the holiday and getting to perform music with a choir is the best.

i finally got the sweater done that i am giving today.

Happy Boxing Day.

i like that pattern and the button work.[:)]

All the online info' makes it sound like the birds are a rare sight here, but that's just not so. The Americans here call them " F*** You birds " because of the cries they make. It's a rough " f'KAH-ew " call. They'll make other noises, but thats the 'wandering about the ground in search of food' noise.

We got about a 1/2 inch, and it was gone in 2 days. Toronto is in a strange weather hole. Drive in any direction (except south, that's the lake) and within 20 min of leaving Toronto, there is snow. Sometimes almost a foot. We don't get snow in the city that stays on the ground until Winter is in full swing usually.

I stuck with carrot cake again, since I sort of ran out of time to do much of anything else, and I knew I had the ingredients. I did them as cup cakes though, so I could bring the extras to work on Thursday.

Fluffy, that's great that you got to sing. I used to be in an orchestra, and I really miss the feeling of being a part of something bigger and creating a beautiful piece of music to inspire others. There's nothing quite like it.

lovethyself - What did you play in the orchestra. In school i played violin, but didn't keep it up.

fae - i made up the stripe design myself. i had yarn left over from another project and thought it would make into a sweater if i didn't use too much of any single color. i still have yarn left over! The munchkin getting it has red hair.

i'm roasting a butterflied leg of lamb for dinner today. Yesterday i opened it up and put a mixture of garlic, rosemary, and mint on it before rolling it up. Then i put it in the fridge over night to let the flavors soak in. It's roasting now with small red skinned potatoes, carrots, and onions.

Oddly enough, fluffy, i was wondering about the features of the UM.[:D]
fluffy is psychic.

The choir and orchestra sounds fun.

i like carrot-cake. my own recipe calls for a teaspoon of blood. i always cut myself grating the carrots, and i'm sure it would throw off the end result if it lacked that slight coppery note on the palette.

lovethyself -> RE: The Last One to Post, WINs Part II (12/25/2012 6:13:08 PM)

Fluffy, in high school I played percussion. I also play fiddle (mostly for a dance group), and piano (only get to play when I'm at my parents' house, so that's what tomorrow is for me). And I love the sweater. I'm still in the very basic stages of skill with knitting (I can do one type of stitch, and I need my mom's help to finish it). But I've noticed that there is always yarn left over, unless you are doing something like a scarf, and just go until you run out.

Fae, my carrot cake doesn't usually draw blood, but I have other recipies that usually get some from me cutting a finger at some point. I really should not be allowed around sharp objects. Fortunately, they haven't figured that out at work yet, so I still get to work in the carps shop with the saws. Have all my fingers still, but I also have about 20 bruises on my legs right now from being a klutz. Good thing my doctor knows what I do for a living.

Enjoy the time off while it's here.

Carp, like the fish ?

lovethyself -> RE: The Last One to Post, WINs Part II (12/25/2012 7:31:42 PM)

Carpentry. I work in a set shop for a television company most of the time. I also do lighting, sound and staging.

Oh. i had food on the brain. [&:]

Your work sounds fun. Chaos always get a worried look when i head off somewhere with a hammer or staple-gun.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Lasties!

Cute sweater, Fluffy!

Love, good luck with the cupcakes at work. [:)]

Happy New Year to come, Dreamy.

fluffypet67 -> RE: The Last One to Post, WINs Part II (12/26/2012 8:07:21 AM)

Happy Boxing Day everyone.

FelineFae -> RE: The Last One to Post, WINs Part II (12/26/2012 1:24:27 PM)

Happy Boxing Day, fluffy.

i'm sitting here trying to charge up for the day. The agenda is to finish putting away the festive shiny things, but they're so pretty that's not as easy at it might sound. And i ran out of energy when i started yesterday. But i've been feeling better and the desire to rescue my nest after it got stuffed with boxes after we received our household goods has been nagging at me. i think today the nest rescue is going to trump the need to put away the garlands and Xmas lights... such is life.[;)]

i'm really beginning to think this is going to be a coffee day.

Sooo, Lasties, where do you stow your holiday decore' in the off-season ?

fluffypet67 -> RE: The Last One to Post, WINs Part II (12/26/2012 3:23:45 PM)

Master boxes it up and stores it in the cellar.

FelineFae -> RE: The Last One to Post, WINs Part II (12/26/2012 4:36:49 PM)

Well, i did get the holiday items put away, sorta... The items are in their plastic tote. Nevermind that i'm the reason all the lights end up in a huge knot.

Now i'm unpacking the boxes that got placed in my nest.

i'm going to need more coffee. Yep. And i am going to need some more duct tape.

Would a pouncesnugglegrope work instead, I wonder? [;)] [sm=angel.gif]

Pounces are always good.[:D]
You will be repounced, and you'll never see it coming...

It's take-a-break-so-you-don't-over-do-it, eat-something-carby-so-you-take-your-vits, and recharge-with-coffee-break time.
i think my unpacking is going along well, but i think my next effort should be finishing Chaos's tea, it's had enough time to steep.

fluffypet67 -> RE: The Last One to Post, WINs Part II (12/26/2012 6:15:54 PM)

i'm finishing up some neck warmers to give when i travel to Austin in January. A neck warmer is a cowl for a man.

Thought so. [:D]
Dinner was spicy hot chili from Wendy's and (yet-to-be-eaten) baked potatoes.
Oh really? Should I be scared, or sumfin? [sm=couch.gif]
